The images range from landscape to portraits, aerial views, astronomy and scientific photos, occasional photos printed in monochromatic color, and a few in color. Each contain extensive listings of European photographic societies with names of members, officers, and locations, photographic publications, libraries and publishers, sources for chemicals, papers, printers, and a vast amount of aesthetic and technical information. Includes photos by Demachy, Boissonnas, Puyo, De Launay, Dubreuil, Alinari, Malle, Gilibert, Geisler, Rey, et al. As with the publications of the Camera Club of Paris, Roger Aubrey demonstrates his superb use of mise-en-page to fuse the images with the text.
