E-LIST54  I am pleased to offer for sale a selection of newly catalogued items from our large inventory of the technical history of photography.  These include Blanquart-Evrard's INTERVENTION DE L'ART DANS LA PHOTOGRAPHIE, several annual reports, including the first from the International Congress of Photography, Estabrooke's THE FERROTYPE AND HOW TO MAKE IT in a variant binding, Otte's LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY [1858] the first manual on the subject, three works by Henry Peach Robinson, and two editions of Rodger's TWENTY-THREE YEARS UNDER A SKY-LIGHT.

E-LIST51 I am pleased to offer for sale a selection of recent acquisitions, which includes Bellmer's LA POUPÉE; several titles by Robert Hunt; an early American exhibition catalogue of Autochromes; a scarce Robert Frank film promotion book; Hill's A TREATISE ON HELIOCHROMY;  Lewis Hine's SKYSCRAPER; a unique album from the KOKOON CLUB; three Daytona Beach Orotones by LeSesne; Melloni's  RAPPORT SUR LE DAGUERRÉOTYPE, which includes Donne's process for etching daguerreotype plates; a rare Pictorialist catalogue from Strassburg; two unique maquettes by Jean-Pierre Sudre; Wada's TOKAIDO GOJUSAN TSUGI with 56 albumen prints; several important histories, and numerous nineteenth century process manuals.

E-LIST50 I am pleased to offer for sale a selection of recent acquisitions, which includes a vintage photograph by Mario Giacomelli; a portrait of James Baldwin by Anthony Barboza;  a portfolio of large offset prints, signed by Michael Becotte; important early manuals by Claude Felix Abel Niépce de Saint-Victor, Désiré Van Monckhoven, and Frederick T. Hardwich.  There is an early broadside of  E.S. Hayden, an itinerant daguerreotypist, and a  selection of signed works by Les Krims, Eikoh Hosoe and Joel-Peter Witkin.

E-LIST49 I am pleased to offer for sale a selection of recent acquisitions, which includes the first work of photographic humor, Cuthbert Bede's  PHOTOGRAPHIC PLEASURES in the first three editions; a complete set of the Corcoran Gallery exhibition catalogues THE NATION'S CAPITAL IN PHOTOGRAPHS, 1976; one of the earliest descriptions of Daguerre's process; early manuals for the application of photography for military surveys; the variety of applications for stereo photography; pre-1860 formularies; the bromoil and collodion processes; and, the true first edition of Proctor's THE MOON with an extra albumen photograph by Rutherford.

E-LIST 48 We are pleased to offer for sale a selection of recent acquisitions, which includes several highlights of Pictorialism: P. H. Emerson's MARSH LEAVES, 1 of 100 deluxe copies on Japan vellum; KODAK PORTFOLIO...EXHIBITION (of ) 1897, with 14 photogravures by Annan, Robinson, Davison, Hinton, et al; manuals on the Platinotype procces by Pizzighelli and Hinton; an early manual on the Autochrome and a work on the gum-bichromate, oil and bromoil printing processes. 

We include a selection of photographic incunabula, including the second German edition of Daguerre's manual, an 1856 manual on glass transparencies, an 1862 manual on the ambrotype, and the first French work on photomicrography to contain albumen examples.

Also offered is an unbroken run of the first ten Argentinian CONGRESO DE HISTORIA DE LA FOTOGRAFIA, Auer's ENCYCLOPEDIA INTERNATIONAL 1839 TO THE PRESENT, and other works on the history of photography in Italy, Uruguay, etc.

Among the monographs is a fine copy of Cartier-Bresson's DECISIVE MOMENT, and SIGNED works by Jan Saudek, Franco Fontana, Graciela Iturbide, and Larry Sultan.
