Light soil or foxing to the top edge, an occasional mark on a wrapper; otherwise, very good or better. A long and near unbroken run, lacking ony volume 27, no. 3 and volume 30, nos. 2-4.

This is the set of the senior editor, William H. Willis, with his name stamped in gold type on the spines of the bound volumes. Item #54435

Published twice a year, GREEK and BYZANTINE STUDIES, was founded and edited by John J. Bilitz, July, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas. By volume 2, it incorporated ROMAN into the title, and by volume 3, it was published quarterly with William H. Willis as senior editor - the publisher and location varied until it settled with volume 5, no. 1 (1964) at Duke University, where it continues to be published.
