One issue has the first leaf detatched, several partially separated at the fold with no loss, the last has a few closed tears, several are toned or dusty and have creased corners, issues 14 - 32 have a verticle fold and an ink postage stamp, as was often found on newspapers and journal from this period. Published irregularly, this run of the first two years, begins with the issue No. 1, Thursday, March 3, 1852 and concludes with issue No. 32. Saturday, July 21, 1855. The demand for this journal was high and several editions (printings) were published. These later editions are here designated as : (2) or (3), otherwise, they are first editions. The 27 issues are as follows: No. 1 (3), No. 2, 3, 4, (2), No. 5, No. 6 - 9 (2), No. 10 - 17, No. 20 - 28, No. 32. This long but incomplete run represents Volume 1 [No. 1 - 19] & Volume 2 [No. 20 - 39]
