This yearbook had an intermittent publishing history; it began in 1934, suspended in 1937, and 1941-1947, and terminated with the ninth yearbook in 1950. The title varied over the years, with the later issues simply titled Production Yearbook. Each issue contained the following major sections, comprised of numerous articles on specific aspects: Art and Photography, Bookmaking and Binding, Engraving and Electrotyping, Ink and Paper, Printing Processes, Production Data, and Typography.
