Thomas M. Easterly was a daguerreotypist based in St. Louis, who began making photographs of Native Americans and landscapes in the 1840s. He continued to make daguerreotypes into the 1870s, after other photographers had moved on to the glass-plate collodion process. INSCRIBED by the author to Eugene Ostroff.
