Selznick by Cartier-Bresson and others; an early American exhibition catalogue featuring Alfred Stieglitz and his circle; Robert de La Sizeranne's anthology of early Pictorialist, LA PHOTOGRAHIE EST-ELLE UN ART?, Paris 1899; and a large selection of early histories and manuals of the technical developments of the photographic medium.

E-LIST 56 I am pleased to offer for sale a large group of photographic trade catalogues and company publications.  These ephemeral pamphlets are quite scarce, usually discarded when an updated one was issued.  These span the 1880s to the 1950s and were issued by manufacturers and distributors of cameras, lenses, films, papers, and other photographic supplies; most include prices.  Among the companies represented are: AGFA, ANSCO, BAIRD & TATLOCK, BAUSCH & LOMB, BLAIR CAMERA CO., GOERZ OPTICAL, DEFENDER, E. & H.T.
