Some of the photographs are collages, or are painted on, all are SIGNED. Limited to 35 numbered copies; also SIGNED on the colophon by Isou. Text in French. Isidore Isou established a French avant-garde movement called Lettrisme in Paris in the mid -1940s. The movement had its roots in Dada and Surrealism. The Lettrists applied their theories to art and culture, poetry, film, painting and political theory. This is their manifesto on photography, with original silver photographs.

All items are offered subject to prior sale. All items are accurately described, however we accept returns for any reason within ten days of receipt; we request notification in advance, and all items must be carefully packed, insured and returned in the condition in which they were received. Library and institutional billing requirements will be accommodated. Customers new to us are requested to send payment in advance or provide references.
For your convenience we accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, checks drawn on a U.S. bank account in dollars, or international money orders. Ohio customers will be charged the applicable sales tax.
Overseas customers please note: All items will be shipped insured via airmail, unless you request otherwise. A statement will be sent under separate cover and we request payment upon receipt of the statement. We accept payment in U.S. funds, or by credit card.

Shipping Terms
For domestic delivery we prefer to ship via USPS Priority Mail. We also ship via Federal Express upon request. All items are sent insured and shipping charges are billed at actual cost, minimum of $6.00.
For our overseas customers we offer a variety of delivery services which may vary from country to country. All items are sent insured when possible. For air delivery we use U.S. Postal Service. For expensive items we ship via Federal Express insured.
